Thesis Title  :  Theory of Thermal and Elastic Properties of some Geophysical      Minerals.

My research work is the theoretical modelling for studying thermal and elastic properties, which are of central importance to understand the behaviour of geophysical minerals. This study approaches more closely the composition and behaviour of the lower mantle of the Earth. The relationship between pressure-volume-temperature , higher derivative properties such as pressure derivative of bulk modulus and higher order Gruneisen parameter provides the useful link between thermal and elastic properties of the bulk materials.

Thesis title: “Study for the effect of size, shape and pressure on thermophysical       properties of nanomaterials”

My area of research is theoretical modeling for studying the thermophysical properties of nanomaterials with respect to size and shape. Fundamental properties of nanomaterials are strong function of their size and shapes and have numerous applications in several fields. Due to high surface to volume ratio and less cost as compare to bulk materials, nanomaterials could be the best option.
